- WSL / NRMA

COOLANGATTA, Queensland, Australia (Tuesday, May 7, 2024) - The World Surf League (WSL) APAC region and NRMA Parks and Resorts are set to continue their partnership with the GWM Sydney Surf Pro Presented by Bonsoy, as the second stop on the Challenger Series event returns to North Narrabeen this week.

WSL staff and competitors will once again enjoy the hospitality and picturesque surroundings of the Lakeside Holiday Park during Stop 2 of the 2024 WSL Challenger Series. This is just one of 39 incredible NRMA Holliday Parks in NSW, many of which are located within a stone's throw of some of the state's best surfing beaches.

"The WSL is thrilled to have NRMA Parks and Resorts continue as the accommodation partner at this year's GWM Sydney Surf Pro Presented by Bonsoy," said WSL APAC President, Andrew Stark. "Our staff and competitors have had such a great experience staying at the Lakeside Holiday Park over the last few years. The facilities are fantastic, and the proximity to the world-class waves of North Narrabeen is perfect. We thank them for their ongoing support."

NRMA Parks and Resorts will receive branding, signage, and corporate hospitality at the GWM Sydney Surf Pro Presented by Bonsoy. There will also be a broadcast integration, the ‘NRMA 2-Minute Warning', a branded graphic that will indicate two minutes remaining until the end of each heat.

"At NRMA Parks and Resorts, we're proud to team up with the WSL for the GWM Sydney Surf Pro 2024 and provide a perfect home base for all the competition's fans and athletes," said NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO, Paul Davies.

Continuing with the partnership, WSL's branded content for NRMA Parks and Resorts, in collaboration with former Championship Tour surfer and WSL commentator, Richie Lovett, will continue to be leveraged. The content will appear on WSL and NRMA Parks and Resorts platforms and will be featured during the broadcast of the GWM Sydney Surf Pro Presented by Bonsoy.
